Check-in time is 2:00 with a casual wine and cheese reception planned for Friday night.
We will “Sit and Stitch” for the entire weekend. Bring your UFO”s or start a new project. Each guest will have a full table for her use. We will have a small ‘shop’ which will have basic supplies available in case you forget something.
We are pleased to announce that Prodigy Quilting will be supplying several longarm quilting machines for the use of our guests. There will be time for many guests to load and quilt a small quilt of their choice at no charge (possible charity quilt?). Sherry will be available for small group instruction on these wonderful machines. Take the time to “pick her brain” on the different techniques that she uses to quilt her quilts. Many of these techniques can be used even if you don’t own a longarm. Let us know if you are interested in quilting a small quilt so that we can reserve the time for you on these machines.
Want a non-quilting friend or family member to accompany you? No problem. Palm Key offers a fantastic space to just “veg-out” for the weekend. The porches of Palm Key are great to just stare at the marsh or curl up with a good book. Beaufort and Hilton Head are close by if you want to take a drive or do a little shopping. Palm Key is a place to relax and “find your center” before going back to the real world.
Imagine: Springtime in the Low Country of South Carolina. A large, cushioned wicker chair, covered porches that look out on to the salt marsh of the Broad River. Quilting friends, excellent food, luxury accommodations, ahhhhhhh what more could you ask for?

A deposit of 1/3 of your fee is required along with the completed and signed registration form. SO, fill out your form, write your check and get it in the mail. Room requests will be honored according to postmark.
